N Building shows us what might be signs of our future. Combining 2D barcode read directly on the facade of the building, augmented realitty, and business information, this kind of facility we confirmed that the phone will be more than just a communication tool but rather a social tool.

Être une enseigne de bâtiments commerciaux ou les panneaux sont généralement attachés à la façade sape l’identité de la structure il nous semble ». Comme solution nous avons pensé à utiliser un code QR de la façade elle-même. En lisant le code QR avec votre appareil mobile vous serez emmené sur un site qui comprend les informations du magasin. De cette manière, nous envisageons un paysage urbain qui n’est pas gêné par la signalisation omniprésente et aussi une amélioration de la qualité et l’exactitude de l’information elle-même…”

“N Building is a commercial structure located near Tachikawa station amidst a shopping district. Being a commercial building signs or billboards are typically attached to its facade which we feel undermines the structures’ identity. As a solution we thought to use a QR Code as the facade itself. By reading the QR Code with your mobile device you will be taken to a site which includes up to date shop information. In this manner we envision a cityscape unhindered by ubiquitous signage and also an improvement to the quality and accuracy of the information itself…”
